As energy and other management costs increase, competitive pressures will require large corporate businesses and building owners in general to seek more refined and sophisticated services from their Facilities Management partners. It will require a state-of-the-art, flexible IT based infrastructure to deliver such functionality.

The GCS3000 command and control software application can be at the core of such a solution requirement as it is able to manage each sensor or device to unit level. As a consequence, the software will facilitate management at unit, department, floor, branch or total building level.

By being delivered on a Linux platform (Real Time) added-value applications can be incorporated to deliver extensive reporting, security control and personnel administration functions, all fully integrated to standard corporate applications. All information is available in real time over the web or across proprietary and secure networks.

GCS3000 is a core Energy Management Solution. For the medium-sized building market, whatever the niche or type, the software can be installed and used to reduce energy costs and resource usage. We already have a number of licenced partners to address and deliver solutions and we are actively looking for further partners who wish to deliver the solutions into geographic, vertical or horizontal sectors.

Domestic Marketplace

GCS3000 can be configured to work either on very low cost PC’s or embedded inside existing domestic equipment. It can provide full control functionality including smart metering of electricity, gas and water. By being on an open source platform (Linux) and in a “soft format” the functionality can be enhanced and developed as the market demands change at a significantly lower cost than with proprietary systems. More importantly, GCS3000 can easily connect or bridge to an overall Smart Grid solution.
